Woolworths online orders were cancelled this morning after a worker at in Melbourne's inner west tested positive for coronavirus, the supermarket giant has confirmed.
City of Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp said she spent Sunday loading pallets with supplies for the 3000 residents of nine locked-down towers, who have been told they cannot leave their homes.
"I understand that there may be some of the pilots and flight attendants from airlines involved in some of the quarantine," Professor Kidd told the Nine Network this morning, adding that recruitment for the roles is a decision for the department. “The Victorian government must ensure that workers safety is paramount,” TWU Victorian Branch Secretary John Berger said in a statement.
