On Monday night's episode of Coronation Street, Peter Barlow was arrested on suspicion of murdering serial killer Stephen Reid, much to viewers' dismay
Coronation Street viewers have been left fuming as Weatherfield residents turned on fan-favourite Peter Barlow.
But viewers were outraged as some of Weatherfield's residents appeared to turn on Peter, appearing to blame him for Stephen's crimes. Speaking about Friday’s shocking scenes, actor Chris revealed just how “pleased” he had been when he found out his character was the one who got to give Stephen a taste of his own medicine.
“They knew that Peter was angry and was looking for Stephen but although he had tried to beat him up at the flat I don’t think anyone saw that last moment coming until it happened.”
