ITV Coronation Street fans point out issue as Toyah and Spider kidnapping ends in major twist
Coronation Street viewers were treated to a major twist as the kidnapping plot involving Toyah Habeeb and Spider Nugent reached its climax in tonight's episode . The ITV soap opened its latest instalment with Toyah still held hostage in the back of a van with Spider desperate to find her.
Maggie told Spider that she wanted him "to know what it is like to have the person you love most in the world go missing", and the dramatic scenes culminated in both Spider and Toyah on their knees. Spider told Maggie her husband was a "scumbag heroin dealer", and ordered Toyah to run, at which point a shot rang out.Toyah turned to see Spider lying apparently fatally injured on the ground.
Ryan Glendenning @RyanTheSoapking said: "How did Spider get up so quickly? He literally looked dead."
