Coronation Street Alan Halsall has been flooded with supportive well-wishes from his co-stars and fans as he revealed he's undergone surgery which looks set to see him out of action for months. The actor took to social media to share a picture of himself after going under the knife to fix an ACL injury.
He was propped up in bed with his left leg in a compression wrap. He also posted a phot of his leg before the surgery which had been penned with 'ACL' and an arrow ready for the surgeons to get to work. Appearing in high sports, Alan typed: "ACL Reconstruction surgery ," after appearing to confirm he had the surgery almost a week ago on November 3.
"Thank you to the amazing! Staff at Oaklands xx... and also Thanks to my very own nurse Ratched @missdrewmerry93," he joked before asking: "Any rehab tips or advise??" He also tagged the location of his post as "feet up at home".
