Coronation Street star Kyran Bowes has been flooded with praise as he apologsied for his absence amid an important period in his young life. The actor, who plays Jack Webster in the ITV soap, had taken a break to focus on his studies.
"Hy all. Sorry for the absence," he started the caption of the post before explaining: "I took some time away to concentrate on my studies." It was then he shared some good news with his online following.He added: "Happy to say I’m back and even happier to say I passed my GCSES. Hard work and perseverance really does pay off. Now it’s time to celebrate.

Last summer, Corrie fans were shocked by Jack's age in the ITV soap. It came as fans discovered that the schoolboy had been being picked on for having 'two dads', just a month after he discovered that he was born as a result of an affair. Mechanic Kevin had an affair with colleague and neighbour Tyrone Dobbs' late partner Molly while he was married to Sally Metcalfe, which resulted in Molly giving birth to his Jack.
