Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger has confirmed that she'll soon be having an on-screen romance joking, "I don't know who's more thrilled – Jodie or Glenda!"
But before romance, Jodie, who is famed for her work in the West End and theatre stages across the UK from appearing in Olver to Annie, has said viewers will see the 'scariest thing' she's filmed in her entire career.READ MORE: Read more of our Coronation Street stories here The night is lacking in romance aside from Daisy's mum Christina taking a shine to a guy with a tattoo. Soon, with the chaos of the evening over and the pub closed, Glenda heads through to the bar to find masked burglars raiding the till. One of the men orders Glenda to get down on the floor and terrified, Glenda does as she’s told. As the robbers make off with the takings, a tearful and panicky Glenda calls the police.
"We all nip to the kitchen for a glass of water and something catches her eye and she goes in and is utterly horrified. It's the worst feeling I think for anyone to go through. To see someone invading your home, your private space and something you are there to protect and look after."
