Coronation Street star Joe Duttine has joked he's got to 'be careful' when it comes to mixing up his real wife and his on-screen wife as they share the same name. The actor is known for playing Tim Metcalfe in the ITV soap and the much-loved character is married to Sally Metcalfe, played by Sally Dynevor.
Joe and Sally started their relationship in the summer of 2018 and moved into a new home together at the end of 2019. The pair share a beautiful home together in a small village outside Stockport, which they also share with their adorable dog. The soap star said: "We’re sort of good with that though. I don’t think we’d work well together. It would be a little bit odd." But before that, as Lorraine pointed out that his soap wife and reali wife share the same name, Joe quipped: "Yeah, I've got two Sally's in my life. I have to be careful who I send messages to."
