Peter Dutton has launched a blistering attack on the government over its “weak stance” on the “militant” CFMEU as tens of thousands of workers walked off the job to protest the treatment of the embattled union.
The Opposition Leader has sharply criticised the government’s"weak stance" on the"militant" CFMEU which he says is costing taxpayers millions and hindering key building projects.Some protesters in the harbour city told Sky News Australia the government's actions against the CFMEU violated basic legal principles and one even described it as a “threat to democracy”.
