Big Brother is looking for 'stand-out' characters to apply for their new series as the hit programme makes a return.

Show bosses are now looking for the perfect candidates to apply as 'housemates' in the Nineteen Eighty-Four-inspired programme. An advertisement from ITV reads:"We’re looking for the nation’s most interesting, funny and entertaining characters from all walks of life."If you want an amazing experience and a chance of winning an incredible amount of money, we’d love to hear from you."
