Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly offended after the Duke of Sussex’s beloved aunt Sarah Ferguson told a newspaper she barely knew the Duchess of Sussex.
Ferguson, 64, has noticeably returned to the royal fold since King Charles ascended the throne and appeared to distance herself from the controversial Sussexes in a newspaper interview last year.
The diss also came a few months after Meghan claimed in the Sussexes’ Netflix series that the Duchess of York gave her Princess lessons, including teaching Markle to curtsy before meeting Queen Elizabeth II.On Tuesday, a palace source explained to Express.co.uk that Fergie’s remark stung Meghan and Harry and pointed out that Ferguson not only “knew” Meghan but was actually her neighbour on the Windsor estate.
