A spokesman for Wyre Council said the councillor’s conduct was “unacceptable”
A councillor has been kicked out of a meeting and told police were coming to eject him after he raised concerns about an alleged 13-year harassment campaign.
Coun Sorensen, like other members, had been invited to ask a question after hearing a report by one of the portfolio holders and had the standard three minutes to talk.The independent member for Preesall then began an account in which he outlined an alleged 13-year campaign of harassment against him, and claimed Wyre Council had personal reasons for not helping him
Coun Robinson then informed him that the police were on their way. Coun Sorensen appeared to be leaving the meeting but when one of the councillors told him not to come back, Coun Sorensen hit back: “That’s up to the electorate, not you.”
