Couple's bodies found in Live Oak drainage tunnel three weeks apart via expressnews
The bodies of Laura Cavazos Briseno, 50, and Keith Hammond, 52, were found roughly three weeks apart and about 80 yards away from each other in a drainage ditch in Live Oak. The couple was last seen on Sept. 13.LIVE OAK — The body of a dead man was found Sunday in an underground drainage tunnel in Live Oak — the second to be found in the vicinity in about three weeks.
The Live Oak Police Department received a call at about 10:30 a.m. after someone discovered the man’s body in the 12400 block of Judson Road. According to Kens5, relatives who arrived at the scene believed that the body belonged to 52-year-old Keith Hammond, who police had named as a person of interest in the death of his girlfriend, 50-year-old Laura Cavazos Briseno.
