A young couple is lucky to be alive after surviving a hail of bullets at Keilor Lodge in Melbourne's north-west.
Detectives are investigating a conflict between one of the victims and her ex-partner as a possible motive behind the early morning shooting.A young couple is lucky to be alive after surviving a hail of bullets at Keilor Lodge in Melbourne's north-west. Chased by two gunmen, the victims managed to drive 100 metres down the road before slamming the Holden Commodore into a parked car."I was just lying in bed and I heard about six gunshots," one person said.
While the victims have spoken to police briefly about what happened, 9News understands they are yet to give formal statements.Victoria Police said he is assisting them enquiries.
