A man accused of killing his eight-year-old diabetic sister told police she was old enough to decide 'she didn't want insulin anymore' and his family's church had her 'full support' when they withdrew the treatment.
Elizabeth Struhs's 21-year-old brother believes the diabetic eight-year-old understood and supported the decision to stop giving her insulin prior to her death.
The court heard a detective asked him what he meant in his statement when he said the group had Elizabeth's "full support" to withdraw the insulin injections she'd been receiving since her diagnosis in 2019.
