New South Wales has recorded 14,034 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, a notable drop from yesterday.There are 998 people in hospital with the disease, up slightly from yesterday.Yesterday NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard forecast that COVID-19 numbers would double in the state in a matter of weeks.
