Biotech giant Moderna has announced it is pushing ahead with plans to produce a single shot vaccine to inoculate against COVID and the flu in coming years. Moderna says it will likely be manufactured onshore at its plant in Melbourne. 7NEWS

Australian children aged five and under could be in line to receive a COVID-19 vaccination within a matter of weeks, the federal government has confirmed.
