New South Wales Health now requires anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms to test for the virus again just 28 days after completing isolation.

The change - effective Tuesday - follows advice from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee in light of the surging cases in the community.

If you develop symptoms again, make sure to test and isolate."

The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation has updated its recommendation for people aged 50 to 64 years to get a fourth COVID-19 vaccine, while people aged 30 to 49 years may choose to have a fourth shot if they wish to.
