Dallas is 6-0 following a loss in the regular season since those losses to the Chiefs and Raiders.
The Giants have lost starting quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor to injuries. Jones is feared to be out for the season. Taylor is out the next three weeks. So it’s up to DeVito, the football player, who relieved Jones in the loss to the Raiders on Sunday. DeVito completed 15 of 20 passes for 175 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He was sacked six times. If DeVito doesn’t get the start, then Matt Barkley, who was signed to the practice squad last week, might get the nod. If Joshua Dobbs can arrive via trade in Minnesota and win a game, then why not Barkley? The Giants could sign another quarterback to the practice squad and elevate Barkley to the 53-man roster until Taylor is recovered.For now, it appears DeVito or Barkley might start.
Dallas is tied for the third-most home wins since 2016. Kansas City and Green Bay are the teams ahead of Dallas in home wins during that time span. The Cowboys have jumped out to big leads against their three home opponents and are expected to do so again, with the Giants’ season spinning out of control. The Cowboys have swept the season series against the Giants the last two seasons. The last time the Cowboys swept the season series from the Giants for three consecutive seasons was 2017-19.
Parsons has three sacks, 11 solo tackles, 16 total tackles, four tackles for loss and nine quarterback hits. Parsons’ three sacks vs. the Giants are the most against any team he’s played.
