The events will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The goal? To further promote public safety.
A big part of that was encouraging people to turn in unwanted firearms and giving them a safe and anonymous way to do so. "This is the first time in several years that we've been doing multiple locations. We will have five locations throughout the city to ensure we can meet people where they are at. This is about how we increase the public safety and the safety of our communities.
