Sky News Australia host Peta Credlin has commended a prominent Voice supporter for his critique of where he believes Prime Minister Anthony Albanese went wrong in his approach to the referendum.

Lawyer and Jesuit priest Father Frank Brennan spoke with 2GB radio’s Ben Fordham on Tuesday where he outlined how the Albanese government had made"serious missteps" in the months leading up to the referendum.

“Telling Ben Fordham that the PM's mistakes included no bipartisanship, the failure to release draft Voice legislation, and stacking the referendum working group with a whole lot of Yes activists,” Credlin said. “There's no evidence that the Voice would make any practical difference to the lives of Aboriginal people, given all the existing Indigenous bodies that are in our system of government, all the land councils too,” she added.
