The Columbus Crew hosted its annual day of celebration, 614 Day, this afternoon.
First Team players, Crew 2 members, and club leadership came together to sign autographs, take pictures, and play soccer with fans. "This is a way for everyone to have a good moment together, " Head Coach Wilfried Nancy said, experiencing his first 614 Day with the club. "We have a code that our team uses, "'We, not me,' and this is exactly what we’re trying to do."
The club hosted events on their four mini-pitches throughout Central Ohio, including at Northgate Intermediate Schools, Blackburn Community Center, and Sullivant Gardens Community Center.JOIN THE CONVERSATION "It’s awesome," Forward Christian Ramírez said. "I grew up in a low-income family and didn’t have access to much. I know how special these events are. For me, it's something really special."
