Police investigate the fatal shooting of an NBCUniversal crew member in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City.An NBCUniversal crew member was shot and killed on the set of “Law & Order: Organized Crime” in New York City Tuesday, according to police and NBCUniversal.
The crew member, who police identified as 31-year-old Johnny Pizarro of Queens, was working parking enforcement on the set in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, a New York City Police Department detective said. He was shot multiple times in the face and neck at about 5:15 a.m. before being transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the detective said.
