There were highly interesting scenes in the Triple M commentary box as World Cup champions Australia were humiliated by Pakistan in the ODI on Friday night at Adelaide Oval. Not long after Steve Smith went out, a hot Haris Rauf struck again, this time taking the wicket of Aaron Hardie who edged it to Pakistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan.
Jason Gillespie celebrates as Aussie wickets fall. “Edged. Taken. Hardie goes now. Haris Rauf getting wickets for fun in this series, gets his third,” veteran commentator Mark Howard said. “Rizwan takes the catch. And that’s a big moment in this game of cricket. Australia 121 for six.” As Howard turned to look at his fellow commentators, former Australian fast bowler Jason ‘Dizzy’ Gillespie could be seen in the back of the commentary box with a smile on his face, fists raised and hips wiggling.
