The arrest comes off the back of an investigation into MacGill’s alleged kidnapping in April 2021 on Sydney’s lower north shore.
MacGill was allegedly taken from his home in Cremorne and driven to a property at Bringelly, more than 60 kilometres away in the city’s south-west, where three men assaulted him and threatened him with a firearm.
