Cruel blow for Tigers young gun against the Cowboys - Rd 22 Casualty Ward
Wests Tigers halfback Latu Fainu has been ruled out of his side’s Round 22 clash with the Cowboys with a HIA.
Fainu suffered the injury midway through the first half after copping a hip to the head from Cowboys centre Valentine Holmes on Thursday night. Not long after the young halfback was taken from the field Fox League’s James Hooper confirmed the worst for Tigers fans. “The Tigers young playmaker, it’s been ruled a Category 1 concussion so the Tigers now down to a 16-man rotation.”Alex Twal was also removed from the field with a finger injury in the second half, with Hooper reporting the prop is “unlikely to be back.”In a big blow for the Cowboys, interchange hooker Jake Granville was unable to finish his side’s Round 22 clash with the Tigers after being taken from the field with a pec injury.
