Jody Gee, of the Anglo European School in Ingatestone, Essex, said temporary classrooms have had to be set up while the problem gets dealt with.The government said it would "spend whatever it takes to keep children safe".amid safety concerns over reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete - a lightweight material that was used in construction between the 1950s and the mid-1990s.
Essex County Council said 54 schools had been identified as having Raac. Fifteen are local authority maintained schools, but 14 of them "are able to open next week due to mitigation measures having been put in place", it said.
