Marissa Muza and Abby Gaudreau were the goal scorers

Goals by Marissa Muza and Abby Gaudreau lifted the Cumberland Valley field hockey team to a 2-0 Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division field hockey victory over Cedar Cliff Tuesday.

Muza scored her goal in the second quarter off a Lexi Hunter assist. Muza assisted on the second goal by Abby Gaudreau in the third quarter. Cumberland Valley outshot Cedar Cliff by an 8-1 margin and Katie Hume got the shutout in goal. Kelsey Shires stopped six shots on goal for Cedar Cliff.
