Customer's 'can't cope' as McDonald's set to close for a month

The McDonald's branch in Leyland is set to close for a month, leaving customers upset about the lack of hash browns

Customer's who say they rely on a local McDonald's restaurant for their fix of hash browns and burgers say they 'can't cope' after being hit with devastating news.

Taking to their social media page, McDonald's Leyland wrote: "We will be closing on Sunday 4th June at 8pm for amazing upgrades to our facilities! We will be back open on Wednesday 5th July at 11am. Your closest restaurants will be McDonald's Capitol Centre McDonald's Chorley - Tesco McDonald's Chorley - Clifford Street.Many residents were upset by the news, knowing they'd have to wait four weeks to get their McNuggets.

A third commented on the timing of the closure, writing: "Look on the bright side you can have one just before you finish work for the holidays xx." A fourth wrote: "wrong time of year to be closing."
