New Zealand has asked the country's communications security bureau to help market operator NZX Ltd after it crashed for the fourth day in a row on Friday.

NZX said its networks crashed due to connectivity issues relating to two cyberattacks from overseas, targeted at them this week."NZX confirms that the NZX Main Board, NZX Debt Market and Fonterra Shareholders' Market are currently in a halt," it said in a memo posted on their website."The pre-open of the NZX Main Board and Fonterra Shareholders' Market was extended today, and they were moved straight from pre-open to halt at approximately 10.32am today.
