Police are appealing for information after a cyclist's bike was stolen during a vicious attack in which he was punched in the head.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary have released details of the shocking incident which happened in a back alley off Belmont Road in Blackpool. The attack happened between 8.20pm and 8.45pm on Wednesday October 5. Blackpool Police have released a picture of the stolen bike. Officers are asking for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV in the nearby area to come forward.In a Twitter post police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage after a man was punched in the head and robbed of his bike on an alley off Belmont Road in Blackpool last night between 8.20pm and 8.45pm.Read next:
