Incredible pictures have captured the moment England's Matt Walls was launched into the crowd in a horror cycling crash during the men's 15km scratch at the Commonwealth Games.
Spectators were forced to duck for cover as English cyclist Matt Walls was launched from the velodrome track and into the stands during the collision on Sunday.
A man in the crowd was treated for cuts on his arm, while a young girl also received medical attention but luckily escaped without serious injuries. Walls had been riding higher on the slopped bank of the velodrome to avoid the crash but appeared to clip another competitor’s wheel, sending him and his bicycle flying into the front row of seating.
