Campaigners fighting plans to build a controversial incinerator in West Lancashire have welcomed a last minute reprieve as a crunch decision has been deferred until next month.

She told Lancs Live afterwards that campaigner Dr Kerry Dwan, a medical statistician, had clearly set out the evidence against it.
