2024's D23 event returns to Anaheim, California for The Ultimate Fan Event - a full week across multiple venues and more guests than ever before.

The 2024 D23 event will no longer be called an "Expo" and instead be titled "The Ultimate Fan Event" and is scheduled for August 9-11, 2024 in Anaheim as revealed this morning at Destination D23 at Walt Disney World where Screen Rant is in attendance. But this is no ordinary three-day D23 event...To address insanely long lines and guests sleeping in the basement overnight at the Anaheim Convention Center, the big panels will move to the massive Honda Center for the evenings.
The D23 festivities will also begin even earlier on August 8th at Disneyland which will be appropriately themed for the event. The parks will still be open to the public. D23 is also going to a baseball game! On Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA the New York Mets are coming to town and the event will part of The Ultimate Fan Event.
Accommodations for the entirety of the event will be trickier given the multitude of events across different venues in Anaheim.
