Lisa Andrews invited her dad, Wayne Pugh, over to her house after she got into an argument with her husband.
A man died after a scuffle with his son-in-law after being invited over to try and resolve an argument, an inquest has heard.
Detective constable Sara Herbert, reading a report from South Wales Police, explained that at 10.30pm officers received two calls and in one of them it was reported that Mr Pugh had suffered a heart attack and another stated that he had been assaulted. DC Herbert said there had then been a "confrontation" between Mr Pugh and Mr Andrews which led to Mr Pugh becoming unconscious and Mr Andrews carrying out CPR on his father-in-law.
"He had a good relationship with my husband. My husband would cook him breakfast, make him a cup of tea, have a chat, that sort of thing. My dad was a very caring man and he was always there when I needed him.
