El director dominicano Oz Rodriguez le pone humor al reguetón en la serie de comedia 'Neon', que estrena este 19 de octubre y muestra la cara cómica de reguetoneros como Daddy Yankee, Jhay Cortez o Jowell.
Santi , un joven productor, compositor y cantante, llega a Miami sin más aspiración que la de convertirse 'en la estrella de reguetón más grande del mundo'. Acompañado de sus dos mejores amigos, Ness y Felix , y con un único éxito musical en internet, el cantante se adentrará a ciegas en una industria hostil, saturada de talento y llena de apariencias.
La serie navega entre el absurdo y la realidad poniendo a sus ingenuos protagonistas en escenarios casi inverosímiles, con las que el director pretende entretener a la audiencia. Además, exponentes del género como Jowell o Brray tendrán apariciones llenas de humor con las que Rodriguez buscaba mostrar una cara más relajada y menos vista del reguetón.
