Ms Le’s comments come as the Voice to Parliament has been a major talk by the government while concerns have been raised about the cost of living in Australia. “My community come to me for issues that I know that the Canberra people don’t talk about,” Ms Le told Sky News Australia. “It’s about the cost of living, it’s about what they experience right now – the rising cost of fuel."
Ms Lei said she went to a school in her local area to talk to young people and what their concerns were, which they listed as “cost of living” and “mental health”.
