Notre Dame’s Dusty Stromer is the Daily News boys athlete of the week.
Stromer showed why he’s one of the best high school basketball prospects in the country in the last three games. The 6-foot-6, Gonzaga-bound wing averaged 30 points in a trio of games against some of the country’s best teams including DeMatha of Maryland, Brophy Prep and Texas’ Duncanville . Stromer scored 30, 28 and 32 points, respectively, and helped the Knights go 2-1 in that stretch without Mercy Miller .
This week’s Tarek’s Top 10 showcased the best high school basketball players in SoCal, highlighted by Notre Dame’s Dusty Stromer, Harvard-Westlake’s Brady Dunlap and Corona Centennial’s Devin Williams.
