The 2021 second-round pick out of Kentucky is a 'person of interest' in the March 18 slaying of Cameron Ray, according to reports.
According to Hill Jr., Cameron Ray was shot and killed back on March 18th after being involved in a fight on Lower Greenville Avenue. Hill Jr. reported that surveillance footage appears to show that Joseph was in the group of people who fought with Ray and his friends earlier in the night.
Joseph was a second-round pick of the Cowboys last year. He played in 10 games, starting two, and recorded 16 tackles. Hill Jr. said a source said that Joseph admitted to being at the scene, but claims he was not involved in the shooting. He reported that the Cowboys are “looking into Joseph’s involvement.”
“I need for people to pay attention to what these individuals had on, from head-to-toe,” Dallas PD Detective Tonya McDaniel told Fox 4. “Look at their hair. I need you to look at what they had on they had writing on their clothes, on their hoodies. They had jewelry on. I need you to look at some of the medallions and see what it spells out.
McDaniel asked people who may know the individuals involved to “put them on blast,” because “somebody died here and we need to find out who shot Cameron.”Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
