Dallas firefighters are battling a two-alarm apartment fire in North Oak Cliff.
The call came in at about 4:34 p.m. in the 800 block of North Marsalis Avenue at Comal Street – not far from Lake Cliff Park. When the first units arrived on scene, they reported that the fire had spread to the second floor.Heavy flames and smoke could be seen shooting up from the building.
Before long, the blaze escalated to a second- and third-alarm response, and approximately 60 to 70 firefighters were called to the scene.No reports so far of anyone hurt.
