Tuesday was another miserable day at Dallas Love Field.

Some are still holding on to the chance they can see loved ones for the new year, while others are desperate to get home after the holidays. “Thank God my mom was here, but the drive was kind of pointless,” Logan-Sharps said. “They could have told me to just wait over there” in Oklahoma. “We thought it would be OK coming to Dallas.”

“I was thinking that I was ahead of the game because I left Wednesday and got in safely,” she said. “That’s the bottom line for me — I don’t care what they do, I just want to get home safe.” Fernando Ballesteros, a Love Field employee, has been guiding people as they figure out their travel plans. He said safety is the No. 1 priority, and the airline will not let planes take off if equipment or weather are not up to par.
