Watford Junction to London Euston trains are cancelled due to overhead wire damage.
At around 7.24am , National Rail confirmed that several services between the station and London Euston were likely to be cancelled as the damage blocked lines.
Major disruption is expected until 12pm, with trains that do run likely to be severely delayed by up to 100 minutes. The 9.32am train to London Euston from Watford Junction has been canned, as well as the 9.52am train to London Euston, the 9.52am to East Croydon, the 10.02am to London Euston, 10.43am to Tring, 10.45am to London Euston, and five further services until 12.02pm.
“You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today,” National Rail said. “Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.”We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues.
