A key overpass on Brisbane’s northside that was damaged in early February will fully reopen next week to all traffic after final works at night this weekend.

Linkfield Road Overpass, in Brisbane’s north damaged during a truck crash will be reopened in the middle of next week.The truck was carrying a forklift and the impact of the crash pushed the top of the forklift up through the base of the overpass running over Gympie Arterial Road.returning from the Sunshine Coast on the Sunday afternoon.

Night works will start on the overpass at midnight on Sunday when the traffic flow is lowest, he said. Local Labor MP Bart Mellish said the local community had been patient while the repairs to the overpass were finished.
