Dancing On Ice star Michael Barrymore has claimed that he 'witnessed abuse' on the ITV show amid the Strictly Come Dancing scandal - with the broadcaster hitting back with a statement
Michael Barrymore has accused ITV producers of "abuse" behind the scenes of Dancing On Ice, amid the scandal currently plaguing rival BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
However, ITV hit back at Michael's claims with their own statement, telling MailOnline: "We do not recognise these unsubstantiated claims. Michael was unable to participate in the live shows for Dancing on Ice owing to an injury sustained in training. Michael's comments come after BBC Strictly Come Dancing professional Graziano was axed from the show after allegations about his treatment of Love Island star Zara last series. He has since admitted that he kicked her once during rehearsals. While Giovanni Pernice’s behaviour has been dubbed “unnecessary, abusive, cruel and mean” by Amanda Abbington. He denies the claims.
