Fans were gutted
It was drama all the way on the latest airing of ITV's Dancing On Ice. Co-host Holly Willoughby was left calling for a medic, while Phillip Schofield announced news of a 'double elimination'. And the surprises continued with what one viewer called a "shock result!" on Sunday, February 27.
Carley and Mark danced their skate-off routine, however, moments after the skate Carley was left in tears as she revealed a horror injury. Speaking to Holly Willoughby, she said the injury had happened during the routine. She revealed that her shoulder came out and she had to 'pop it back in' right there on the ice.
Christopher Dean said: "The skate off is always do or die and tonight there were some mistakes," as he voted for Siva and Klabera as well, putting them through to the semi-final, with Jayne Torvill then making it a clean sweep at the end. While one viewer called the result a 'shock' others thought the judges made the right call on the night considering Carley's injury, which was a flare-up of a pre-existing niggle.
