From domestic abusers to parents who took the law into their own hands, the courts have remained busy dishing out justice. In one sickening case, a man was caught carrying out a sex act while holding a baby seagull. Another case saw a pregnant woman in Blackpool say she would rip a police officer's beard off, when he was called to a disturbance at her home.
Preston Crown Court heard that on April 6 this year, Aldworth approached his victim who was parked on Rawlinson Street in the Cumbria town. After asking for directions, he struck the victim on the head and neck causing him to fall to the floor. The court heard Lennox's wife Laura, who sat in court, supported her husband but did not support what he did. Judge Knowles KC said Lennox "seems to understand the horror of the images and the harm that has been done", so would accept his "very real position". He said the offences were so serious that justice could only be served with an immediate prison sentence.
In the early hours of January 9 last year, Perry’s first victim was innocently dancing at a bar in with her friends.
