Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plans to undertake more unofficial royal tours have reportedly sparked concerns the Sussexes are putting themselves, and the monarchy, in serious danger.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex set off on a whirlwind 72-hour tour of Nigeria earlier this month during which the couple promoted the Invictus Games and met with top leaders in the West African nation.the King was reportedly furious about the visit and is worried the Sussexes are attempting to destablise the CommonwealthHarry and Meghan, who are no longer working royals and do not represent the monarchy abroad, accepted the trip after meeting Nigerian officials in Germany last year.
“Harry made a comment about this , that this will be the first of many,” Mr Eden said on Palace Confidential on Monday.
