The Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced new plans to attract international students to Melbourne following controversial trip to China.
The contentious trip concluded after a week on Chinese soil with Australian media not invited to the country with him.
Following Mr Andrews’ return he announced a number of working groups have been established in China and Sichuan in order to attract international students to Melbourne. International students currently add about $14 billion to the Victorian economy and it is something the Premier wishes to continue working on.
