Ballard was on target in the defeat to Spain but is expecting a very different game against Andorra
Daniel Ballard is expecting a "completely different game" against Andorra tonight after Northern Ireland's heavy defeat to Spain on Saturday. The big Sunderland defender got Michael O'Neill's men off to the perfect start in Mallorca heading his side in front after only 66 seconds.
"I think it's going to be a completely different game as we're going to see a lot more of the ball," he said. The onus is going to be on us to score and hopefully it's going to be an enjoyable game. "It was amazing to see the limbs in the crowd, it was really cool," he said when asked about his goal. "To be able to celebrate with the team for that short moment was really nice, but we probably scored a bit early because it was going to be a really tough night from there on out. "That's the challenge when you play these sorts of teams. I'm sure they will go far at the Euros, but we need to try and find a way to get results against teams like this."
