The Red Bull driver has been told he's lucky to still be in the sport after years of poor results for various teams.
Daniel Ricciardo has been obliterated by former driver Jacques Villeneuve as he asks why the Aussie is still in F1.
Villeneuve accused Ricciardo of always making excuses and demanding improvements to apparently sub par cars. He says that maybe works when you have an outstanding record like Lewis Hamilton, but not a driver with Ricciardo's CV. "Why’s he still in F1? Why?’ He asked. "We are hearing the same thing now for the last four or five years, 'We have to make the car better for him. Poor him'. Sorry, it’s been five years of that. No, you are in F1.
