Danny Green Near Agreement With Cavaliers - RealGM Wiretap
Veteran wing Danny Green is nearing agreement with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a rest of the season contract. Green is finalizing a buyout from the Houston Rockets to free him up to join Cleveland.
The Cavaliers had searched for a wing on the trade market. They Cavs will now add a veteran with championship experience in Green. Green was traded to the Rockets from the Memphis Grizzlies at last week's trade deadline. That trade saw Luke Kennard head to the Grizzlies and Eric Gordon land with the LA Clippers.
Green also drew interest from the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns. The Suns are reportedly adding Terrence Ross in the coming days. Ross recently reached a buyout agreement with the Orlando Magic.
